Travel Pass Information

There are different travel passes available for High School and Sixth Form students to travel in Greater Manchester:

igo card

Children aged 11 to 16 must have an igo card to travel using a child ticket on buses in Greater Manchester. It can also be used as proof of age for travelling by tram.

You can find out more and apply for an igo card online.

Our Pass

Our Pass is a scheme that enables all eligible 16–18 year olds in Greater Manchester to gain access to free bus travel, and exclusive offers and experiences. To gain access you must become an Our Pass Member.

You can find out more and apply for Our Pass online.

Walking or Cycling

We encourage Didsbury High School students to walk or cycle to and from school. For more information about the benefits of cycling and how to ride safely, please visit the Bee Active TfGM website.

All students should ensure their bike is roadworthy, and that they are wearing suitable safety accessories and helmet. Students should always follow The Highway Code.

Tram

The closest tram stop to Didsbury High School is Withington, which is a 4 minute walk away. Trams on the East Didsbury line run every six minutes at peak times. See TfGM’s Didsbury High School page for the latest travel information.

Bus Service

For the latest information on timetables, tickets and bus services serving our school, please visit TfGM’s Didsbury High School page.
