The Christmas spirit is alive and well at Didsbury High School, with everyone pulling together to support local charities.
We have been collecting items for Southway Food Bank and Mission Christmas and have been overwhelmed by the number of donations that have been made by staff, students and parents and carers.
We have received some fantastic items for Mission Christmas, which distributes toys to children who are facing the prospect of waking up on Christmas morning without any presents, and have been extremely grateful to receive so many food parcels that will directly benefit local people.
We’d like to thank everyone who has donated for their generosity, which is going to make a huge difference to local families this Christmas.
We’d also like to thank the entire school community for their support of the school this year, which has been like no other. We are particularly proud of our students who have adapted so well and have approached their work with a fantastic attitude and we look forward to returning to some sense of normality in 2021.
