As students at Didsbury High School return to the classroom this week, they have been busy learning about career opportunities within the built environment.
Following our first ever virtual National Careers Week, which took place last week while students were still learning from home, we have teamed up with the Forum for the Built Environment (FBE) to look at different career paths within the industry, now that we’re back in the classroom.
Six of their committee members compiled a video for us, talking about their roles and inviting a discussion of what they might do before providing the answers, which some students found surprising and which they hadn’t considered before.
Didsbury High School has recently signed up to the Class of Your Own Design, Engineer and Construct (DEC) programme, offering an insight and encouraging careers within the sector. Our work with the FBE is part of this initiative.
