This summer saw our founding Year 9s receive their Language GCSE grade in either French or Spanish.

They worked incredibly hard, showing real perseverance and courage, to ensure that they achieved a result that they could be proud of. And it is an honour to announce – mission accomplished!

A staggering 20% of students achieved the top grade of a 9. With this grade reserved for the top 3% of students nationally, it is outstanding that 39 Didsbury High School students were awarded it.

More-so, 44% of our students achieved at least a 7, where a 7 is equivalent to an old ‘A grade’.

86% of our Year 9 students got at least a grade 4, which is equivalent to an old ‘C grade’.

Results day was a jubilant occasion, where students were able to celebrate and see how their hard work had really paid off.

It was also evident how grateful the students were to their teachers, who were just as emotional about their success.

Didsbury High School could not be more proud and delighted for this group of young people who continue to prove their true capability and desires for success.

They are showing that, with real grit and optimism, the future of their choice is within their reach!

Bring on Year 10!
