Admissions

We are delighted that you are considering Didsbury Sixth Form for your post-16 studies.

All students who apply for a place at Didsbury Sixth Form will be invited to attend a consultation meeting with a member of our senior leadership team. You will be given the opportunity to discuss your current progress, Sixth Form subject choices and future aspirations. A conditional offer of a place in the Sixth Form will be issued following the consultation meeting and you will also be invited to attend a Taster Day and Induction Day prior to starting in September.

• November – Sixth Form Open Event takes place and the admissions process opens
• December – Application deadline
• December / January – Consultation meetings for internal applicants
• January – Consultation meetings for external applicants
• February – Offer letters issued
• February / March – Deadline to accept offers
• August – GCSE Results Day and Sixth Form registration
• September – First day of Sixth Form
